Entitled “Promoting application-oriented research and grapheme industry”, the 2016 China-EU Graphene Conference co-organized by school of EE, Southeast University and JiangnanGraphene Research institute (JGRI) have been successfully held on 19th, May in Changzhou. Nearly 200 researchers from Southeast University, Nanjing Tech University, Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, CAS, officials from the local government and entrepreneurs from industry, have participated in the conference. As co-organizer and delegate of research institutions, Prof. Li-tao Sun from School of EE has attended the forum. Other distinguished experts include Prof. Jian-ying Liu (Academician of IVA, Sweden), Prof. Vincenzo Palermo (Director of composite materials branch, EU GrapheneFlagship), Prof. Pedro Gómez-Romero (Director of institute of energy for Aeronautics and Aerospace, Spain), Dr. Antonio Lombardo from Oxford University, etc.
