Prof. Litao Sun's team successfully develop graphene based anti-haze mask with excellent performances

    Traditional anti-haze mask removes haze by means of electrostatic adsorption, but static could be weakened and lost eventually because of water vapor in the air and breath, which results in the decrease of removal efficiency for PM2.5. Based on the above fact, Prof. litao sun’s group innovatively develop graphene based filter materials for air purification through combining the functional graphene sheets with conventional filter material (ZL201510034032.8, ZL201520046407.8). The filter material has 3D porous structure.The filter materials are successfully used to produce anti-haze mask (graphene based anti-haze mask, GBAHM). This kind of mask owns ultrahigh removal efficiency for PM2.5 (99.3% for salty particles; 95.6% for oily particles) and ultralow breath resistance (inhale resistance <100Pa; exhale resistance <70Pa). All indicators are better than that in national standard (GB/T332610-2016).Graphene based filter materials possess huge potential applications.
